There are many good websites that describe the history and traditions of Scotland, but the purpose of this website is to show you some of the beauty that can be found in our country's amazingly varied and often hostile landscape. One of the best ways to see Scotland, due to the remoteness of some parts, is from the air. Viewing Scotland from the air gives a much wider perspective, and allows a better understanding of our landscape than ground photos generally allow. Plus it's a perspective that not all of us get to see regularly! You will find over 600 aerial photos of Scotland within this website, accessible via the links on the left of this page. None of them are for sale and they are for private use only. As this is purely a non-profit hobby, not all areas of Scotland are covered (Borders, Dumfries and Galloway regions to be included in the future at some point).
